Thursday Thirteen - 145th Edition

Thirteen Things about YOUR NAME

.... My name comes from the Greek Language and is very old.

.... The meaning of my name is: Bringer of Victory.

.... My father named me after his first girlfriend. My mom didn't mind, or so she said; because she was so happy to have a girl after three boys.

.... My name has three consonants.

.... I use a shortened version of my name in the restaurant I work in.

.... People often say my name incorrectly by leaving out the middle 'e'.

.... People have confused my name with the word Baroness.

.... I googled my name and found that a number of women have my first name and sir name, that were theirs from birth. I was surprised to find other women with my name, keeping in mind that my first name and sir name only came together because of my marriage.

.... My initials are B. A. A. and so are my husbands.

... I can make three nicknames from the consonants in my name; Beri, Ren and Niecey. I have been called by all three.

... My Father's nickname for me is still sweet music to my ears, and he is the only person to have made that music with my name.

... For a long time at my work place, no one knew me by my first name and if anyone phoned for me, they were told - "no one here by that name."

... I have always liked my name, it took me a long time to get used to people shortening it on a regular basis.
