Destined

Haiku Friday

secluded away

child reading beloved books

never forgotten

words kept close through years

brought out when needing comfort

writer in making

hours spent immersed

solace in repetition

words come full circle

My Haiku this week is for and about my
friend Mary, treasured friend and amazing
writer. This week is her first venture into
Haiku Friday. Have a wonderful week
everyone. :)

Love,

  1. Wonderful Haiku -- reading plays such an important part in being able to write -- they make a lovely circle.

BTW your link at Hauku Friday takes you to last weeks haiku. You might want to change it -- not everyone who wants to read you will track you down like I did. :)

  2. I always write better when I've been writing, whether it's fiction, non-fiction, blogging, whatever. Very nice haiku!

  3. Hello Eaton B,
I've had the joy of reading many of your blogposts and Haiku.
This one spoke directly to me, my experiences, my treasured memories.
    Thank you.
