55 words of poetry...

on friday, compose a short story of 55 words - no more,
no less. if you want to join in the fun and give it a
try...post your story and report it to G-man

movement

in the shadows
slow,
deliberate

the still of night
disturbed on a
sigh

discarded clothes
rustle to the floor,
an edgy silence
broken

you've come
as promised

have I made
a mistake?

reassure me

ease my jagged
nerves; soothe
me

with a sharp
twist of
silk

bind me

with the
illusion of your
touch

~

Love,

For some reason, in the last two weeks, the very last entry of the day has been THE BEST ONE!

  6. I'd love to say something wonderful about this peice, but it appears that it's all been said. That doesn't make it any less perfect though. This is beautiful.
I may need to join in your 55 next week. E

  7. You'
re right, I did miss this one. I must have. Because otherwise I'd have had to say something keenly insightful.

    Like... "Rawr!"

Whew! If I hadn't already been running a fever Friday night, I certainly would've been after this.
