Who knows what goes on in the mind of a...

person who writes poetry? I wonder where stuff comes from that is insistent on being written. There's perfectly good, uplifting, inspiring things to write about, but no, this 55 had to have it's say.

Have a great Friday everyone. :)

Sarcasm
spawned in spite
choked out
from under a
collar and leash
tritely delivered
with educated
expertise

laid waste on the
altar of artlessness
spilled from marble lips
useless in their
profanity

a bitter voice
hidden behind
slick words
delivered in
slippery soliloquy

spewed from that
sad, lofty
Ivory tower...

a mean and
jealous spirit.

~

Love,

Strangely enough, I could put a face to this, a person who shall remain nameless, but who is indeed "a mean and jealous spirit."
