It appears I am silent
totally still
viewing the world through
my lens
not true
although I am standing still
barely a flicker of movement
my head is busy
full of possibilities
weighing up a shot
the position of the subject
shapes light and color
I am caught in the moment
lost in anticipation of the
capture
the possibility of perfection
