Poem a day challenge...what do I do for a living?

Day 22 Prompt: Work related
Hungry
impatient
people
waiting
drooling

pizza and pasta
can't bring
it any faster

kids everywhere
parents don't care
see them climbing
over the chairs

drinks crash
food splashes
ice cream squishes
on the floor

hurry get those
kids out the door

oh no not
another table
I don't think
I'm able...

~~

Love,

  4. Yup. That's why I always stayed back in the kitchen. I did the server gig for a couple of months and that was enough to tell me I never ever wanted to do it again.

But I love the legs! Yow!

  5. So you went and interviewed the waitress in the restaurant I was in last night. The whole place was relieved when the four year old left.

  7. This is a great 55. A hectic day in the life of a waitress. I think you deserve to sit down and let someone wait on you. My 55 is up.
