In the garden of good and...

Flirtatious Calyx
resplendent, ripe
aroused between
petal folds

provocative stamens
a fertile flower in heat

suggestive suggestion;
the flower to the bee

Lascivious little bee,
come, spin my floral axis
reproduce me.

Botanical sex

I took the photo of the bee last year and the other photos a few weeks ago, between the end of summer and beginning of Autumn/Fall. One of the photos appeared on my Ruby Tuesday and the other on a Thursday Thirteen. The rest are new and go with this poem, that wrote itself in my head as I was driving to work last night.

Hope you enjoy both the photos and the poem. Not sure what category the poem fits into, naughty probably...

PS: If you want to see the bee, you have to scroll to the last photo and I would suggest clicking on the pic to get all the details.

  1. Are those flowers DOING IT?!!! LOL

  2. Hey's just the facts isn't it! The powerful drive & rythum.. whether it be song, color or dance of life huh?
Whew, what gorgeous shots -as always! I love the transparency in the bee's wings with the pink showing through- Nice job & post-

  3. love it! you make it soooo exciting!

  4. I would place it in the "Flower Gets Laid"...O to be a flower.
