We'll watch raspberry sunrises
drunk on curiosity sated by warm
water swims; salty skin lemon rind dry,
while our pomegranate-syrup eyes
follow the ebb and flow of tides under
a ripe moon heavy with lazy longing.

Oceanic disturbance

Restless white tipped waves challenge my mood.
Tease me to soar through
soft
feathered
distant winds.

Searching depths darker than the indigo of night,
bluer than my eyes.

I turn my head back to where I came from,
my day dream broken.
Snapped back. Splintered on a sharper reality;
senses heightened.

Liberated by my flight.
