she’s young

filled with yearnings

inexperienced

eager

determined to achieve her goal

step by step  

nimble fingers

shape and cut the

fabric of dreams

glue and persistence

piece it all together

          delighted because it is what

she had hoped for from the

first scant idea

little girls know no boundaries

don’t always think of difficulties

that may prevent them realizing

their dreams

grown girls often lose their way

drowned out by the voice of reason

the caution of doubt

and fear of failure.

Frieda and Giovanna

This is our new Granddaughter, Frieda. She was born on Thursday 4th September at
9.15pm. She is the second baby born in our family in the last three months. She weighed 6lb. 9oz, has blue eyes and brown hair and looks a lot like her mama. Frieda is on my lap as I am typing, fast asleep and just so warm and adorable. How precious is new life, the promise and hope for the future.












And this is Giovanna, who was born on the 4th June, exactly three calendar months before Frieda. Their mom's are our daughter's and have always been very close friends as well as sisters. We now have eight grandchildren, four boys and four girls. I never cease to be amazed and thrilled by the growth of our family. Such beautiful blessings from God.
