as the world turns...

the tenderest of endearments
spoken into the breech
close the chasm of distance
that circles north to south
the miles between here and there
never widening - never closing
day and night securely pursue each other
assurance that spring and autumn will
always be opposites as summer and winter
constant in the definition of friendship.

love,
Eaton
