I have been experimenting with poetry again. Over on the Writer's retreat blog I posted "Not Alone." I have been thinking a lot about Friendship and inspiration for the poem came out of those thoughts. As usual my ideas start out as one thing and develop into another. The finished poem was a surprise to me, as I think of friendship as warm and mostly light hearted. But this piece has a slightly darker undertone. Follow the link to read more...
