  3. That's a great photo -- very geometric. Have you tried it in sepia?

  8. There's something about a crumbling building that draws me in and makes me ponder the stories its walls could tell. Great photo!

  9. Falling down, but a great photo opp.

PS To answer your hamentaschen/Haman's Ear question - they're the same thing. They're called hamentaschen in Ashkenazi (Eastern European / Yiddish speaking tradition) and Haman's Ears ("Oznei Haman") in Hebrew and in the Sephardic Jewish tradition (those who trace their ancestry back to the expulsion from Spain in 1492 - today's Spanish, North African, etc. communities). Whatever you call them, they're delicious, and I've just posted the recipe on my blog :).

  12. Nice picture. When you say Victoria, I thought of British Columbia. BC has been on my mind because I'm thinking of saving up next year's leave and visiting during the Olympics. Then, I remembered your Victoria pic in another hemisphere! I'd have to save more to visit your Victoria. LOL.
