Thursday Thirteen - 7th Week of the New TT!

My thoughts for this weeks TT strayed to Vincent van Gogh.
I like his art; a lot. His life is equally as interesting. Mid way
down this blog you will find a poem by me. It has minimal
words and that was the challenge, to see how much of his story
I could fit into a few short words. Happy TT! :)

Lots more Thursday Thirteens here

I'm really beginning to think blogger hates me!

  1. I've seen most of these, except for the skull. Love it. Great little poem too. Happy T13!

  2. I love the Asian one and the one directly underneath the best. Beautiful!

  3. Beautiful artwork and a really great poem too!

  4. What a seriously excellent TT! I adore Van Gogh, and was so tickled to see some of these again. Sadly, you didn't post my very favorite. it would have taken up too much space, anyway. It's his series of Haystacks during different times of day. Freaking incredible!
    Your poem is simply perfect.
    I'm up at both Thornesworld
and with my very first TT at my new blog, Eclectic Witch!
    I hope you'll stop by!

  5. What a great TT! Nice touch, too, adding the poem among all of the artwork. :)

    Happy TT to you!

  6. I love Van Gogh. He is one of my top 10 favorite artists... hmm, maybe that will be my next TT! ;-)

    Great poem!

  7. Hadn't seen the skull before? Thanks for sharing some great art.

  8. Even if you hadn't said who the poem was about, I'd have known.

  9. I love Van Gogh.
    and that poem was fabulous!
    Happy TT

  10. Great idea! hmmm....I feel a Monet, TT coming up!

  11. Amazing choices. His work is so complex and varied. I was lucky enough to grow up near the Norton Simon museum - which has a Van Gogh. Just amazing to stand in front of! :)

  12. Starry Night is one of my most favorite paintings. It's positivel mesmerizing, for such a tiny painting. My friends had to physically drag me away from it at the Musee D'Orsay. *grin*

And now I have the song Vincent in my head! lol

  13. Beautiful! Thank you. Can I tell you how much I love the Sunflowers? Now I know what's missing from my bedroom.

  14. I have not seen these before and they are great! Thanks for another great TT!
