I like his art; a lot. His life is equally as interesting. Mid way
down this blog you will find a poem by me. It has minimal
words and that was the challenge, to see how much of his story

ReplyDeleteWhat a seriously excellent TT! I adore Van Gogh, and was so tickled to see some of these again. Sadly, you didn't post my very favorite. it would have taken up too much space, anyway. It's his series of Haystacks during different times of day. Freaking incredible!

ReplyDeleteAmazing choices. His work is so complex and varied. I was lucky enough to grow up near the Norton Simon museum - which has a Van Gogh. Just amazing to stand in front of! :)
ReplyDeleteStarry Night is one of my most favorite paintings. It's positivel mesmerizing, for such a tiny painting. My friends had to physically drag me away from it at the Musee D'Orsay. *grin*
